Natural No-Poo Shampoo

As the title states this is a shampoo that does not lather nor make bubbles. I do not blame you if you are about to hit the X in the corner or hit the back button I too use to cringe at the thought of not using legitamite bubbly liquid to clean my hair but before you do hear me out.

   This substance is amazing!

I tend to have heaps of product build up and sweat from working out (ewww, gross) in my hair. This mixture not only cleans and softens the hair it also brings out the curls in my hair. The procedure is easy and it only requires a few simple ingredients. I personally find it easier to use with a bottle that has a nozzle attached to it.
   Here are the ingredients:

1/2 cup warm water
2 Tbsp Baking Soda
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1/4 cup BRAGG Apple Cider Vinegar

   Here is the procedure:
Step 1 - Take the bottle or cup you plan on mixing the ingredients in and add the warm water
Step 2 - Add the Baking Soda to the water and mix until it is fulling dissolved.
Step 3 - Next add the oil and mix well
Step 4 - Add the vinegar right before use on hair

Now for the best part! I prefer to do this on dry detangled hair and over the sink.

Step 1 - Little by little pour the mixture over your head onto the scalp. This is where the pointy nozzle comes in handy.
Step 2 - Rub don't scratch the mixture on the scalp. Scratching may scar the scalp.
Step 3 - Comb the mixture through. By default the mixture goes all the way to the ends of your hair but it doesn't hurt to comb it through.
Step 4 - Rinse the mixture out.

And there you have it my personal favorite shampoo. I like to use this rinse about once or twice a week or when ever I feel my hair needs to be clean. I also like to follow it up with a homemade avocado deep conditioner.

Beginnings?

I am NOT a writer! Let me better explain. I am not a great writer I am more so decent but I hope to get better as I explain and demonstrate the goods of my blog.

I should have started off by explaining who I am so you all can see what I have to offer (told you I am not great at this). My name is Ayesha I live in a small town of SoCal. I am also a single parent to a adorable and very handsome little boy. I am on a natural hair journey as well as a journey to health living (not so easy). I have a love for Jesus, food, and football.

I began this blog on a suggestion from someone for the sake of helping others and learning from others. As this is a journey and only the beginning I ask that you all have patience with me.
